Old Sebilis Code of Conduct
Guild Policies & Community Expectations
As our guild continues to grow, we believe it's important to put into writing the kind of community we're trying to build — not just what we do, but how we treat each other.
Every member of Old Sebilis represents the guild. We ask everyone to act with respect, integrity, and a Guild First mentality both within our community and throughout the world of Monsters & Memories.
Official Play Nice Policy
First and foremost, Old Sebilis fully supports and adheres to the Monsters & Memories Official Play Nice Policy. Every member is expected to follow it while representing the guild.
If the developers have established expectations for player conduct, we intend to uphold them.
The following behaviors may result in officer intervention. Depending on the severity of the incident, actions may range from a conversation or warning to immediate removal from the guild.
Zero-Tolerance Offenses
These actions may result in immediate disciplinary action, including guild removal.
- Hate speech or discriminatory language
- Sexual harassment or unwanted sexual behavior
- Real-Money Trading (RMT)
- Cheating, exploiting, or knowingly abusing bugs that violate the game's rules
- Repeated harassment of players inside or outside the guild
- Serious violations of the Monsters & Memories Official Play Nice Policy
- Actions that have resulted in a Monsters & Memories account ban
Warning-Based Offenses
These behaviors will generally result in a warning. Repeated or severe incidents may lead to disciplinary action or removal from the guild.
- Political discussions in guild chat or Discord
- Intentionally or aggressively training monsters onto other players
- Camp stealing or repeatedly violating established camp etiquette
- Creating unnecessary drama or hostility within the guild
- Disrespectful, abusive, or toxic behavior toward guild members
- Repeatedly disrupting guild events or activities
- Misuse or theft of guild resources, including Guild Hall storage, donations, or shared materials
- Violation of the server's Multi-Box rules
Officer Discretion
Not every situation fits neatly into a list. Officers will review incidents on a case-by-case basis, taking into account intent, severity, frequency, and any prior history.
Our goal is not to punish members whenever possible. We would much rather resolve issues through conversation and maintain a friendly, welcoming community.
However, when someone's behavior consistently harms the guild or its reputation, our officers will take appropriate action to protect the community.
Ultimately, every member of Old Sebilis represents the guild. We ask everyone to act with respect, integrity, and a Guild First mentality both within our community and throughout the world of Monsters & Memories.
